The ImgCat Foundation is the charitable organization behind the ImgCat social site. But our mission is broader. We are one of many organizations working towards a better, more responsible social web.
We believe:
- The internet is a global resource, and should benefit all people
- Digital privacy is a right, and should be the default setting
- Social media should respect users' time, attention, and preferences
Our open-source projects and charitable contributions work to support and improve the digital ecosystem building this new responsible social web. This is why we are building and supporting the ImgCat social site.
